We have been selling fresh vegetables, fruit plants and flowers at Par Market, or Cornish Market World, for many years.During this time we have been serving regular customers, as well as visitors to Cornwall, retail and some wholesale. Personal service is very important to us, and many customers have become friends.
Local produce is available from nearby farmers and growers, and the freshness is noticeable in the eating and keeping quality.
Many bargains are on display,especially when large volumes of a product are in season..
Cornish fresh-cut cabbages, cauliflower, root vegetables and other delicious seasonal vegetables are all available.
Plants available at present include a huge range of bedding plants for the garden; Heathers in a pot and various other plants as available. Hardy Cyclamen and Primroses are now in.
We also sell vegetable and salad plants for gardens and allotments.
Fruit baskets or cut flowers are also a welcome gift, and we are happy to offer advice.
The last weekend in August we set up a small display of Dexter Beef and were delighted with the response from customers. We will be doing the same again but this time we are setting up a bigger display opposite the veg stall where we will now be EVERY WEEKEND so we hope you will come and see us there.We will also have Cornish Pork, as well as some delicatessen goods. The market is open 9am-5pm Saturdays and Sundays all year round (EXCEPT NEW YEAR'S DAY 2012) If you haven't been to see us,why not pop in. We look forward to serving you.
